Hi, i’m Carole!

I’m a certified yoga instructor, wellness blogger, and coach with a lifelong passion for health, nutrition, mindful movement, and helping women discover a greater sense of calm in their everyday lives.

For more than 30 years, I worked as a Nutrition Manager in healthcare, where teaching, mentoring, coaching, and supporting others were at the heart of what I did. Today, I bring that experience into my work with women through yoga, mindfulness, breath work, somatic practices, and simple tools for creating calmer and awareness in daily life.

But my work is also deeply personal.

For more than 20 years, I have lived with and learned to manage depression. I understand what it can feel like to have a mind that feels heavy, busy, or overwhelmed while quietly longing for peace and steadiness.

Yoga became much more to me than movement or exercise. It became a way of slowing down, reconnecting with myself, and learning to be present with what I was feeling rather than always fighting against it.

Through Hatha Yoga using the Kripalu approach, somatic practices, breath work, mindfulness, and principles drawn from Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, I discovered practices that helped me quiet racing thoughts, become less reactive, feel more grounded in my body, and cultivate a calmer inner landscape.

That experience helped shape the way I teach today.

My Approach

I believe yoga does not have to be complicated, intimidating, or about achieving the perfect pose.

My teaching is gentle, grounded, compassionate, and mindful. I encourage women to slow down, notice what is happening within their bodies, connect with their breath, and become curious about what they need in the moment.

Through gentle yoga, breath awareness, mindfulness, sensory grounding, and somatic practices, I help women explore ways to settle an overactive mind, ease emotional overwhelm, support nervous-system regulation, and reconnect with a sense of steadiness within themselves.

I teach with a soft, calming voice and strive to create an environment where women feel welcomed, supported, and free to experience yoga in their own way.

There is no pressure to perform.

No expectation to be flexible.

No need to arrive feeling calm.

You simply begin where you are.

Why I do this Work

I am passionate about supporting women through the many seasons and transitions of life—especially those times when life feels busy, uncertain, emotionally demanding, or simply too loud.

I believe calm is something we can practice. Sometimes it begins with one slower breath, one mindful movement, or noticing our feet on the ground.

One decision to pause rather than react; These seemingly small moments can gradually change the way we experience ourselves and the world around us.

I draw inspiration from women such as Princess Diana, Brené Brown, Glennon Doyle, Elizabeth Gilbert, and Oprah Winfrey—women whose lives and work reflect compassion, courage, vulnerability, emotional honesty, and personal evolution.

At the heart of my own life and work is a simple principle:

“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

This passage reminds me to lead with kindness, compassion, respect, and an understanding that we never truly know what another person may be carrying.

Through Wellness Warrior, my hope is to create a welcoming place for women who want to quiet the noise, reconnect with themselves, and discover that a calmer way of moving through life is possible.

You don’t need to change everything at once, sometimes you simply need a place to begin.

Take a breath. Slow down. Come back to yourself.
